Open your mouth for the people who cannot speak, for the rights of all the unfortunate. Proverbs 31:8
Supporting refugees fleeing to a foreign land.
In June of 2021, four men traveled from Arizona to Africa with the intent of visiting the Banyamulenge people of the Eastern Congo. What began as a trip to see how to serve these people has since become a calling and a mission.
The Immediate Need
Currently, those being served are in need of immediate assistance with housing costs, as homes are being rented to Banyamulenge refugees in neighboring Uganda. While this is a temporary solution that has enabled those fleeing persecution to find refuge, our big picture goal is to purchase land for the long term vision of a place that will house church meetings, short-term housing, and vocational training.
Additional and ongoing needs include the daily necessities of food and clothing, resources to become self-supporting entrepreneurs, and most importantly, to see the Word of God translated into their own language.
The Next Step
The first trip was only the beginning and opened up possibilities of work to be done. Our second trip showed our Great God opening hearts and doors. Please join us in prayer as we continue to seek His leading in serving our brothers and sisters in Africa.
We thought we had been forgotten, and then you came to help us.
